Vera Scerbakova is a practicing Jungian analytic therapist (IAAP), sandplay therapist (ISST), and licensed trainer with almost 20 years of experience working in orphanages, kindergartens, and private practice with children and adults in Latvia.

Scerbakova trained with June Atherton (Ireland), a disciple of Dora Kalff, and then with Linde von Keyserlingh, another direct student of Kalff. Under Keyserlingh's guidance, she became an ISST member and licensed trainer. She is the Director of both the Linde von Keyserlingh Sandplay Therapy Institute and the Analytic Psychology and Sandplay Therapy Centre.

Since 2012, she has served as Chair of the Board of the Latvian Society for Sandplay Therapy (LSST) and represents the LSST on the ISST Board. Her extensive work in orphanages reflects a commitment to bringing the healing benefits of sandplay to vulnerable children in the Baltic region.
