Dr. Alexander Esterhuyzen is a Senior Jungian Analyst, psychiatrist, and Teaching Member of the International Society for Sandplay Therapy based in London. He holds membership in the Royal College of Psychiatrists with Certificates of Completion of Specialist Training in Psychotherapy and Psychiatry of Disability.

Esterhuyzen served as President of ISST in 2019 and as President of the British and Irish Sandplay Society from 2002 to 2010, during which time he coordinated the training programme for professional membership. He was an Honorary Senior Lecturer for the University of London at St. George's Hospital for many years.

As a Senior Jungian Analyst with the Independent Group of Analytical Psychologists in London and a Member of the International Association of Analytical Psychologists, Esterhuyzen represents the rare integration of medical psychiatry, Jungian analysis, and sandplay therapy within a single practitioner.
