Sally Chan Shook Yim is a Certified Sandplay Therapist with the International Society for Sandplay Therapy, certified in 2021 as the fifth locally trained certified sandplay therapist in Hong Kong. She holds a Master's degree in Social Science and is a Marriage and Family Therapist.

Chan serves as President of the Hong Kong Sandplay Therapy Association (HKSTA) and as the HKSTA representative on the ISST Board. Her interest in sandplay was ignited when she witnessed symbolic phenomena in her clients' sandtrays, leading her to train with Dr. Alexander Esterhuyzen.

Her broad training in hypnotherapy, art therapy, play therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy provides a rich clinical foundation that she integrates with sandplay in her practice. Her leadership role in HKSTA supports the growing sandplay community in Hong Kong.
