Pi-Ling Chen is a certified sandplay therapist with the International Society for Sandplay Therapy and the President of the Taiwanese Society for Sandplay Therapy (TSST). She serves as the TSST representative on the ISST Board.
Chen has published in the Journal of Sandplay Therapy, including 'From Flood and Drift to Re-Rooting: The Healing of an Indigenous Adolescent After a Typhoon-Induced Disaster,' which demonstrates sandplay's application in disaster trauma recovery within an indigenous cultural context.
As President of the TSST, she leads the development of sandplay therapy in Taiwan, connecting Taiwanese practitioners to the international sandplay community and adapting the Kalffian tradition to East Asian cultural contexts.
