Marie Tierney, MA, MSc, is an accredited psychotherapist based in Ireland who provides Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, consultation, supervision, and training both in private practice and online. With core training in humanistic, integrative, and body psychotherapy, Marie specializes in supporting adults with childhood trauma and addictive processes. Her particular expertise lies in integrating IFS with Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA)/dysfunctional families and 12-step recovery communities, as well as blending somatic embodied practice with the IFS approach. Passionate about expanding IFS accessibility globally, Marie actively builds and develops the IFS community in Ireland by organizing trainings and workshops. She holds certifications as a therapist, approved clinical consultant, and trainer with the IFS Institute, and is also an accredited EMDR therapist.
