Emma Diamond is a Certified Internal Family Systems therapist, case consultant and trainer with a Masters in Family Therapy from Newcastle University, Australia. Emma has 18 years of clinical practice working with complex and relational trauma. She has worked with IFS in the context of individual and family therapy including with children and young people across culture, complexity and identity. She currently works in private practice as a psychotherapist and supervisor specialising in CPTSD in NSW Australia. Emma is the first and only IFS Institute trainer in the Australia and New Zealand region. She is particularly passionate about supporting reconciliation, 'The Voice' to parliament and the Uluru statement from the heart. Emma works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander first nations people to listen deeply and support healing from historical, racial, intergenerational and personal trauma as well as supporting First Peoples practitioners and clinicians in applying Internal Family Systems to their communities and services. Emma is known for her warmth, openness, inclusivity, creative and clear facilitation, her supportive and empowering presence and her love of the natural world, dance and playfulness.
