Amy is a graduate of Saint Joseph's College in Maine and the Columbia University School of Social Work. After serving in the Army as a social worker, she served combat Veterans and survivors of military sexual trauma as a therapist and director of the Sanford Vet Center (part of the VA). She currently enjoys training other professionals in IFS as a Lead Trainer and through consultation. Amy's IFS journey began in 2013 and since that time, she has found IFS to be a source of healing for herself, her wife and her clients. She is excited to be part of the movement to bring IFS to many different communities. She wholeheartedly believes that this model offers an opportunity for connection and healing on a societal level.
