Irina Diyankova is a licensed psychologist and health services provider in the state of Tennessee, a certified IFS therapist, Approved Clinical Consultant, and Lead Trainer at the IFS Institute. She specializes in the treatment of psychological trauma and related mental health concerns, including PTSD, Dissociative Disorders, Anxiety, and Mood Disorders. She is also a pioneer in working with neurodivergent adults, particularly those who are late-identified (after age 18) with autism or ADHD.

Irina has been trained in multiple therapy approaches, including Gestalt, Interpersonal, and EMDR, but since completing her IFS training in 2013, she has fully transitioned to the Internal Family Systems model. She completed all three levels of IFS training, served as a Program Assistant multiple times, and since 2021 has served as a trainer with the IFS Institute. She offers individual and group professional IFS consultation and conducts IFS workshops both within and outside the United States.

As a therapist, Irina is deeply committed to the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of healing. She treats clients with respect, kindness, and warmth, and maintains an inclusive practice serving diverse and multicultural populations, including LGBTQ individuals, neurodivergent people, racial and ethnic minorities, immigrants and refugees, and people of all spiritual and religious affiliations.

Personally, Irina was born and raised in Russia, lived through perestroika and the economic upheavals of the 1990s, and immigrated to the USA in 2001. She identifies as multiply neurodivergent and non-binary, and is a survivor of advanced cancer. These lived experiences deeply inform her clinical work and her commitment to compassionate, embodied healing.
