Constance Kaplan, LMFT, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience. Her private practice is conducted via teletherapy, and she integrates Attachment-Focused EMDR, somatic modalities, and contemporary psychodynamic psychotherapy into a comprehensive treatment approach. Her work is designed to help clients achieve personal and professional goals with greater self-awareness, resilience, creativity, and an increased capacity to love.

Constance is an Approved Consultant and Senior Faculty member of the Parnell Institute for Attachment-Focused EMDR, as well as an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. For over a decade, she has trained clinicians throughout the United States and internationally. She served as a keynote presenter and instructor at the Parnell Institute Innovations in EMDR Conferences held at 1440 Multiversity in Scotts Valley, CA, the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York (2018), San Francisco (2019), and a virtual conference in 2021.

She is a contributing author to 'Rewiring the Addicted Brain: An EMDR-Based Treatment Model For Overcoming Addictive Disorders' (Parnell, 2018). Constance is also a former founding President of the Trauma Resource Institute Board, former President of the Association for Psychoanalytic Thought of Southern California, and has served on two committees at the American Psychoanalytic Association.
