Alessio Rizzo MA, MSc (He/They) is an accredited psychotherapist for individuals and groups, a writer, a group facilitator and trainer. Based in London, UK, he is the first native Italian speaker on the IFS Trainers Directory. At the heart of Alessio’s work is the provision and expansion of IFS to reach underprivileged communities, especially the LGBTQAI+ and the neurodivergent ones, which he is openly a member of. Merging these two areas together, and based on his clinical experience and studies, Alessio will co-present a workshop on “Neuroqueering IFS” in the 2024 IFS Conference. He offers multiple other workshops, including IFS for ADHD, and IFS for LGBTQAI+ therapists. He also co-presented a workshop on IFS for OCD. First trained as a Gestalt Psychotherapist, Alessio holds a postgraduate qualification in teaching and pedagogy and worked as a psychotherapy lecturer before shifting to becoming an IFS trainer.
