David P. Johnson, M.Div., PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and Jungian analyst with over 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist and clinician. Dr. Johnson utilizes psychodynamic, depth-psychological, cognitive-behavioral, and client-centered approaches in his work. A former Lutheran minister, he is also interested in spirituality and dream work.

Following an intensive, multi-year program of study and professional and personal development at the C. G. Jung Institute in Chicago, Dr. Johnson earned his Diploma in Analytical Psychology in 2021 to become certified as a Jungian psychoanalyst. He is one of the only IAAP-certified analysts in Iowa, making him a rare resource for Midwest clients seeking Jungian psychoanalysis.
