Urs Honauer is Faculty of Somatic Experiencing® International, based in Zürich, Switzerland. SE is a body-oriented approach to trauma resolution developed by Peter Levine, working with autonomic nervous-system regulation, sensation, and the somatic completion of thwarted survival responses. Urs Honauer began his professional career as a primary teacher, specialized then to work with blind and deaf children, followed by additional University Studies in the fields of Educational Psychology, Social Work, Philosophy, Special Ed, and Journalism. He received a master's degree and then a PhD in Educational Psychology.
