Not clinical advice
Seba is a scholarly and educational resource on depth psychology — a curated library, a practitioner directory, and an AI-guided companion drawing on the Jungian and classical traditions. Nothing on Seba is a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or a therapeutic relationship with a licensed clinician. Sebastian does not provide medical advice, psychiatric advice, or a clinical opinion. If you are in crisis, reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the US) or your local emergency services.
Acceptable use
You are welcome to read Seba, ask Sebastian questions, save readings, and share individual pages with anyone. Please do not attempt to scrape the site at scale, overload the AI endpoints, reverse-engineer the system, or submit content that is abusive, threatening, or illegal. Automated queries, rate-evasion, and bulk extraction are prohibited.
Content and attribution
Seba’s editorial writing — the essays, glossary entries, Sebastian’s AI-generated answers, and the book descriptions — is published by Seba Health under the care of editor Cody Peterson. Short excerpts from the library’s source material are used for scholarly commentary and attribution, and belong to their original authors and publishers. You may quote Seba’s editorial pages with credit and a link back; please do not republish large sections or Sebastian transcripts without permission.
AI-generated answers
Sebastian’s replies are generated by large language models reading against a curated library. We work hard to keep them grounded and citation-aware, but they can be incomplete, stylistic, or occasionally wrong. Treat them as a scholar’s orientation to the material — a starting point for your own reading, not a final word.
Practitioner directory
Listings in the practitioner directory are editorial recommendations based on public credentials and materials. Inclusion is not an endorsement of any individual session or outcome, and Seba is not a referral service or therapy matchmaking service. Practitioners are responsible for their own licensing, scope, and care.
Changes
These terms may change as Seba evolves. Material changes will be reflected here. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
