Marilia de Castro Reis is Faculty of Somatic Experiencing® International, based in Brazil. SE is a body-oriented approach to trauma resolution developed by Peter Levine, working with autonomic nervous-system regulation, sensation, and the somatic completion of thwarted survival responses. Marilia de Castro Reis is a clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience who began with cognitive behavioral therapy and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) before being introduced to Somatic Experiencing in 2003. Since then, this approach has become the primary focus of her professional practice.
