Carlos Eduardo Melo Oliveira is Faculty of Somatic Experiencing® International, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. SE is a body-oriented approach to trauma resolution developed by Peter Levine, working with autonomic nervous-system regulation, sensation, and the somatic completion of thwarted survival responses. Carlos Eduardo Melo is a clinical psychologist, working as professor and clinical supervisor. Since 1999, he has been working on a daily basis as a private psychologist, and since 1985, has also worked as a body therapist and massage therapist.
