Biography
Leonore Tiefer is a feminist sexologist, psychotherapist, and Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry (emerita) at the New York University School of Medicine. She holds a PhD in psychology and completed postdoctoral respecialization in clinical psychology at NYU with a focus on sex and gender. She received both the Alfred C. Kinsey Award and the Distinguished Lifetime Scientific Achievement Award from the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality.
