Biography
Esther Perel is a Belgian-born psychotherapist, author, and speaker recognized internationally for her work on erotic desire and relational dynamics. Licensed as a marriage and family therapist and certified by AASECT, she trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, family systems with Salvador Minuchin, psychodrama, expressive arts, and bioenergetics. Her books Mating in Captivity and The State of Affairs have been translated into dozens of languages.
