Galit Atlas is a relational psychoanalyst and clinical supervisor in private practice in Manhattan. She is a faculty member at the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis, Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research, and the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. Her book The Enigma of Desire: Sex, Longing and Belonging in Psychoanalysis is a landmark work in relational psychoanalytic writing on sexuality. Her international bestseller Emotional Inheritance has been translated into twenty-seven languages.
