Arlene Istar Lev is a licensed clinical social worker, AASECT Certified Sex Therapy Supervisor, and certified substance abuse counselor with over thirty years of experience serving the LGBTQ+ community. She founded Choices Counseling and Consulting in Albany, New York in 1986, and in 2010 founded TIGRIS, a post-graduate training program in gender, relationships, identity, and sexuality. She has been a lecturer at SUNY Albany's School of Social Welfare since 1988.
