Ruth Castellano is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Sandplay Therapist recognized by both the International Society for Sandplay Therapy and Sandplay Therapists of America. She operates Sandplay for Healing LLC from her office in Chatham, New Jersey.
With over 20 years of experience in mental health agency, group practice, and private practice settings, Castellano specializes in work with catastrophic trauma presentations in both children and adults. She began her formal study of sandplay in 2013 at both the STA Assembly in Albuquerque and through Caring for the Soul's intensive program in Switzerland.
Castellano integrates sandplay therapy with EMDR in her depth-oriented clinical work and serves as the STA Regional Representative for New York and New Jersey, supporting sandplay therapists across the Northeast.
