Dr. Linda Cunningham is a psychotherapist with over 30 years of clinical experience and a Teaching Member of both Sandplay Therapists of America and the International Society for Sandplay Therapy. She holds a doctorate in East-West Psychology and is licensed in both California and Washington.
Dr. Cunningham is the author of 'Sandplay and the Clinical Relationship' (2013) and has contributed to 'The Routledge International Handbook of Sandplay Therapy' (2017) with a chapter on healing complex trauma in adults. She has published extensively in the Journal of Sandplay Therapy on the therapeutic relationship in sandplay.
Through her organization Sandplay Training Worldwide, Dr. Cunningham has taught sandplay for over twenty years, offering trainings and consultation groups both in person and online. She currently practices in Gig Harbor, Washington.
