Karen Hartfield is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Sandplay Therapist with both the International Society for Sandplay Therapy and Sandplay Therapists of America. She earned her Master's degree in Counseling from the University of South Florida in 2014.
Hartfield operates Fearless Heart Counseling in Venice, Florida, in the Sarasota/Venice area. She focuses on Dora Kalff's Jungian-based sandplay therapy for all ages, with particular expertise in grief, loss, and trauma.
She serves as Secretary of Sandplay Therapists of America and as the Florida Regional Representative for STA, supporting the development of sandplay therapy practice across the southeastern United States.
