Janet Tatum is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Jungian Analyst, and Teaching Member of both Sandplay Therapists of America and the International Society for Sandplay Therapy. She has been in clinical practice since 1972 and is based in Redmond, Washington.

Tatum began studying directly with Dora Kalff in Zollikon, Switzerland, in 1979, placing her among the small group of American practitioners who trained with the originator of sandplay therapy. She holds Jungian Analyst certification in both child and adult analysis through the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles.

A past President of STA and an Assistant Editor of the Journal of Sandplay Therapy, Tatum has contributed to the field both clinically and editorially for over four decades.
