Dr. Dyane Sherwood is a Certified Sandplay Therapist and Teaching Member, Licensed Psychologist, and Jungian Analyst certified in both adult and child/adolescent analysis by the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco. She currently practices in Chicago, Illinois.

Sherwood serves as President of the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago and the Interregional Society of Jungian Analysts. She was Editor of Jung Journal: Culture and Psyche for ten years and serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Analytical Psychology. She has founded Analytical Psychology Press with imprints including Sandplay Editions and Dancing Raven Press.

She co-edited, with Betty Jackson, 'Into the Heart of Sandplay' — a major contribution to the field. Her work on embodied expression through sandplay represents a distinctive integration of somatic awareness and Jungian analytical thought.
