Betty Jackson is a Licensed Social Worker and Teaching Member of both Sandplay Therapists of America and the International Society for Sandplay Therapy, with over 40 years of clinical experience in school, mental health, and private practice settings. She serves as Honorary Secretary of ISST.

Jackson established The Center for Jungian Sandplay in southeastern Pennsylvania to offer sandplay process, consultation, and training in the tradition of Dora Kalff. She is co-editor, with Dyane Sherwood, of 'Into the Heart of Sandplay' — a significant contribution to sandplay therapy literature.

Her teaching focuses on cultivating symbolic literacy and the history and evolution of sandplay therapy, providing trainees with both the practical skills and the depth psychological foundations needed for sandplay practice.
