SpiritQuest Shamanic Sanctuary has operated on the Río Momón near Iquitos since 1995, making it one of the longest-running plant medicine centers in Peru. Founded by Don Howard Lawler, a Chavin Maestro who passed in 2019, the center is now led by Parker Sherry, who apprenticed with Don Howard for several years. The 8-day retreats include ayahuasca and huachuma (San Pedro) ceremonies, shamanic orientation and instruction, flower baths, personalized healing consultations, and integrative activities with Amazonian nature and indigenous communities. All-inclusive packages cover lodging, organic dieta meals, airport transportation, and all ceremonial activities. The center uses a written screening questionnaire to assess applicant safety and suitability.

SpiritQuest is one of the oldest continuously operating plant medicine centers in Peru (since 1995), founded by the late Chavin Maestro Don Howard Lawler. The program uniquely combines both ayahuasca and huachuma (San Pedro cactus) traditions, offering a dual-medicine approach that engages different dimensions of the healing process. Parker Sherry, hand-picked and trained by Don Howard over several years, now continues the lineage.
