Chiron Publications opened in 1983 with the inaugural volume of the Chiron Clinical Series, edited by founders Murray Stein and Nathan Schwartz-Salant, and has since grown into one of the longest-running Jungian presses in the English-speaking world. Its catalogue spans clinical theory, fairy-tale and mythological scholarship, the Chiron Legacy reissues of first-generation Jungian writers, and the Zurich Lecture Series. The press currently operates from Asheville, North Carolina.
