Danielle Davis, LPC, CHT (they/them)

LPC · CHT

Danielle Davis, LPC, CHT (they/them) is a Certified Hakomi Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor offering attachment-focused, somatic psychotherapy to adults and couples in Portland, Oregon, and online throughout Oregon and Washington.

Their work centers the relationship between attachment, the nervous system, embodied experience, and the patterns through which people have learned to organize themselves in relationship. Hakomi is a foundational orientation in their practice, alongside training and study in Primary Attachment Therapy and NeuroAffective Touch. They also draw from parts work, psychodynamic and relational approaches, and other somatic and experiential traditions.

Danielle works especially with people interested in moving beyond primarily cognitive or insight-based therapy toward a slower, experiential process that supports greater connection with the body, emotions, relationships, and an emerging sense of self.

Additional influences: parts work, psychodynamic/relational therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
