Maha ElHamshary is an Egyptian Psychiatrist, Psychotherapist, and Psychodramatist practicing since 2006. She is trained in different modalities of Psychotherapy and has been studying and integrating the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model since 2018. She works in private practice, offering Psychotherapy and Consultation as a Certified IFS Therapist and Approved Clinical Consultant in IFS. Over the years, she has facilitated Psychodrama groups using IFS to empower Egyptian and refugee women, addressing issues related to gender-based violence. She is also an IFIO staff member. Her work with individuals and couples reflects a deep commitment to fostering Psychological healing that honors cultural contexts and spiritual, religious beliefs in therapeutic spaces. She also dedicates significant efforts to promoting and spreading the IFS model within the local community in Egypt.
