Siri Ness is a Zurich-trained Jungian analyst and psychotherapist based in Oslo, Norway. She came to analytical psychology from a distinguished career as an acclaimed literary translator, a background that deeply informs her therapeutic approach — particularly her sensitivity to language, imagery, and the symbolic dimensions of human experience.

Her therapeutic philosophy centers on the belief that pain which cannot find expression — whether in words or other forms — becomes an unconscious, mute cry in the soul, held at bay through survival strategies that eventually become too constraining. She works with clients to listen to what they do not want to hear, and to see what they do not want to see, so that genuine suffering can find its words and images, leading toward a fuller, truer, and more emotionally alive life.

Siri Ness holds senior standing in the international Jungian community, serving as both supervisor and teaching analyst at ISAP Zürich. She is a member of AGAP (Association of Graduate Analytical Psychologists), IAAP (International Association for Analytical Psychology), NFAP (Norwegian Association for Analytical Psychology), and NFP (Norwegian Association for Psychotherapy), and is certified as an ECP (European Certificate of Psychotherapy) psychotherapist.
