Patrizia Peresso is a Jungian analyst and psychoanalyst based in Rome, Italy, affiliated with the Associazione Italiana di Psicologia Analitica (AIPA), the first Italian society adhering to the International Association for Analytical Psychology. Within AIPA, she serves as a coordinator of ECM (Educazione Continua in Medicina) training groups focused on theoretical, clinical, and empirical research into dreams as psychodiagnostic indicators in co-transference.

Peresso's scholarly contributions center on the intersection of clinical practice and empirical dream research. She has published in both Italian and international journals, including the Journal of Analytical Psychology and Studi Junghiani. Her 2019 article 'The Analyst and Analysand as Citizens of the World' examines the analytic relationship within the context of contemporary social and professional pressures, while her 2022 paper 'From Dissociation to Integration: The Value of the Green Factor' explores the healing potential of the natural world within the analytic process, examining how the plant kingdom can foster integration and support the individuation journey of the analytic couple.

Her collaborative research with Alessandra De Coro on clinical-empirical approaches to dream narratives, published in 2024, represents a paradigm she describes as a 'new analytical practice,' bridging the gap between qualitative clinical observation and systematic empirical investigation. Peresso has also presented at the XXII International Congress for Analytical Psychology in Buenos Aires in 2022.
