Merry Armstrong Fougere is a Diplomate of the C.G. Jung Study Center of Southern California, endorsed by the International Association of Analytical Psychology, and one of the very few IAAP-certified Jungian Analysts practicing in the Inland Northwest. She holds credentials as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and served as a professor at Washington State University before retiring as Professor Emerita.
Her practice in downtown Spokane offers individual Jungian therapy with particular attention to dreamwork, archetypal exploration, and the individuation process. She also provides services for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, ADD, stress management, and parenting support. Her service area extends to Cheney, Coeur d'Alene, and surrounding communities.
Fougere's dual background as both a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a certified Jungian analyst is exceptionally rare. This combination allows her to hold both the pharmacological and the depth psychological dimensions of mental health care.
