Lea-Sophie Richter is a Jungian psychoanalyst and psychological psychotherapist in private practice in Zürich. She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Zurich, where her dissertation focused on nonverbal processes in psychoanalytic initial sessions. She is a trained FACS (Facial Action Coding System) coder according to Paul Ekman, giving her a distinctive empirical foundation for her clinical work with nonverbal communication and the therapeutic relationship.

Richter completed her postgraduate training in analytical psychotherapy at the C.G. Jung Institute in Küsnacht between 2016 and 2021, earning her recognition as a federally licensed psychotherapist in Switzerland. She also holds additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), resource-oriented counseling, and international school counseling. Her clinical approach integrates work with unconscious processes, dreams, active imagination, systemic tools, and mindfulness techniques to help clients unfold their individual potential.

Beyond her private practice, Richter serves as a lecturer and program director at ipsyt GmbH, a continuing education institute for psychological counseling, and as study director at the C.G. Jung Institute. Her published research appears in the journal Psychotherapie-Wissenschaft, including work on nonverbal communication and the therapist factor in psychotherapy. She works with adults, young adults, teenagers, children, and families, and speaks German, Swiss German, Italian, and English.
