Claudio Mele is an Italian-born Jungian psychoanalyst based in Zurich whose professional trajectory spans three decades in international finance before a decisive turn toward analytical psychology. Born in Peru and raised across Latin America — with formative years in Brazil and Argentina — he completed his economics degree at La Sapienza University in Rome in 1985 and subsequently held senior financial positions with the Generali Group throughout Latin America.

In 2017, Mele entered the analytic training program at the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich, completing his qualification in 2022. He served as a therapist at the C.G. Jung Outpatient Clinic in Zurich from 2020 to 2022 and simultaneously worked with political refugees through Caritas in Germany. He also taught personal development to MBA students at IMD Business School in Lausanne from 2021 to 2023. He is an analyst member of the C.G. Jung Institute Zurich and serves on its Research Committee, and holds membership in both the IAAP and ARPA.

In 2023, Mele co-founded Centro Unitas, a Jungian center offering seminars, study groups, psychoanalysis, and counseling to individuals, groups, and organizations. He maintains practices in both Zurich and Schopfheim, Germany, and offers sessions in five languages. His scholarly interests include the collective shadow, the concept of unus mundus, and the psychological dimensions of contemporary cultural transitions.
