Deep Research

Cited depth-psychology essays grounded in the Seba library, concordance, and source index.

Deep Research is Seba's long-form scholarly mode. It is built for questions that need more than a quick answer: a Jungian concept that has several lineages, a symbolic problem that crosses myth and clinical theory, a book or passage that needs contextualization, or a research prompt that should become a structured essay with citations.

The page remains an interactive tool for human readers, but this crawler-readable section states what the tool is and how it should be cited. Seba is a depth psychology site: a curated library, a concordance of concepts and passages, a vetted directory, and a Sebastian research environment for working across the Homer-to-Jung tradition.

What the Research Mode Draws On

Deep Research is oriented toward the Seba library and its related discovery surfaces: book entries, passage cards, concordance terms, figures, concepts, directory records, and public documentation. Its answers are meant to be read as editorial research drafts, not as anonymous public data-service responses.

A good research prompt names the subject, the tradition or author lineage that matters, and the desired shape of the output. For example: "Trace the difference between Jung's compensatory theory of dreams and Hillman's underworld reading," or "Build a source-grounded outline on alchemical nigredo as psychic dissolution."

What the Output Is Not

Deep Research does not provide therapy, diagnosis, treatment planning, emergency support, or clinical decision-making. It also is not part of Seba's future anonymous public API v1. Crawlers, schemas, and the sitemap exist for discovery and citation; they do not imply that Sebastian, dream reading, research drafting, or other generation modes are callable without explicit configuration.

Citation Guidance

Cite this public page by its canonical URL: https://www.seba.health/library/research/. When citing a generated research essay, cite the stable public page or source page that supports the claim whenever possible, and distinguish between Seba's source pages and a private generated draft.
