The MA in Jungian and Post-Jungian Studies at the University of Essex is designed for those looking to improve their prospects of training as a Jungian analyst or psychotherapist, or to develop research skills in analytical psychology. The entire course is taught through distance learning (online) with no in-person teaching required.

The Department of Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies is internationally recognised as one of the leading departments for work focusing on the role of the unconscious mind. Topics include the history of analytical psychology, key contributions by women, Jung's Collected Works, mythology, psychology of religion, and applicability to other academic disciplines. The course can lead to a PhD or to work in clinical/non-clinical settings.
