The Sociedade Brasileira de Psicologia Analitica (SBPA), founded on March 13, 1978 in Sao Paulo, was the first Jungian institution in Latin America to become a member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).

The institution has three main goals: training analysts, disseminating Analytical Psychology, and participating in the community. SBPA represents a major hub for Jungian training in South America.
