The C.G. Jung-Institut Zürich was founded in 1948 with C.G. Jung's participation, after plans first made in 1939 were delayed by the war. Its post-graduate training program began at Gemeindestrasse 27 in Zurich-Hottingen, with the first diplomas awarded in 1953. In 1979 the Institute moved to the Seehof at Hornweg 28 in Küsnacht, near Jung's own home. The program offers the Diploma in Analytical Psychology and attracts candidates from across the globe for training in the classical Jungian tradition.
