Founded in 1948 with the direct participation of C.G. Jung, the C.G. Jung-Institut Zürich is the birthplace of formal Jungian analytic training. The Institute began at Gemeindestrasse 27 in Zurich-Hottingen and moved in 1979 to the Seehof at Hornweg 28 in Küsnacht. The Psychoanalysis Training Program leads to the title of 'Psychoanalyst' recognized by the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).

The program lasts at least eight semesters and can be completed alongside professional work. Students engage deeply with Jung's original texts and methods, including dream analysis, active imagination, and the study of archetypes and the collective unconscious. The institute also offers an Analytical Psychotherapy Diploma and a Further Education certificate program.
