About

Jeremy Lehmann is a somatic psychotherapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) based in Nashville, TN, specializing in LGBTQ+-affirming therapy, religious trauma, sex therapy for men, and attachment and relational healing. He holds credentials as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-I), and is an SEI-approved session provider for SE students.

Jeremy's path to therapy was not a straight line. He spent twenty years working as a graphic designer before entering his forties and beginning his own deep therapeutic work — an experience that cracked open his understanding of himself, his relationships, and what it means to be truly present. That personal transformation led him back to school to study connection: why it comes easily for some and feels out of reach for others, and why insight alone so rarely produces lasting change.

Over the past decade in the field, Jeremy has come to center the body as an integral part of the healing process. His approach integrates Somatic Experiencing, attachment-focused EMDR, and a culturally attuned, LGBTQ+-affirming lens. He brings not only advanced clinical training but his own firsthand experience of this work — including an understanding of what it costs to move through a world that hasn't always had space for everyone — allowing him to meet clients as a practitioner who knows this terrain from the inside.

Jeremy works with people who are already doing the inner work and are ready to go deeper — toward change that shows up not just in thinking, but in the body, in relationships, and in daily life. His practice, Thrivery, reflects a core belief that the capacity to thrive is inherent in every person, not something to be installed, but something to be uncovered and restored.

Clinical Orientation

Body psychotherapy orientation through USABP membership; integrates somatic experiencing with attachment-focused EMDR and relational approaches. While not formally psychodynamic, his emphasis on moving 'beyond insight to integrated, sustainable change' reflects a depth sensibility.
