Jeanna Gomez

Jeanna Gomez, MSW, LCSW, LADAC, CPC, SEP, BASE-P, is a highly experienced trauma therapist and consultant based in Houston, TX, with over 22 years of clinical experience. She holds the distinction of being the first Latina Somatic Experiencing (SE) Faculty member in North America and spearheaded the introduction of SE Professional Training to Houston in 2017. She owns and operates both a counseling practice and a trauma healing and recovery center, Gomez Counseling & Consulting Services (GCCS).

GCCS specializes in trauma treatment and recovery, going beyond traditional talk therapy by utilizing evidence-based modalities proven to bring sustained results in trauma healing. Jeanna integrates SE Touch, Integral Somatic Psychology, and Pia Mellody's Post Induction Therapy (PIT) model to help clients move from feeling stuck to experiencing greater flow in their lives, bodies, and overall wellbeing.

Her areas of specialization include Complex PTSD, addiction and trauma, developmental trauma, racial trauma, and SE training and consultation. GCCS offers a range of services including trauma healing and recovery, intensive healing workshops, professional consultation and training, groups, special events, and event space rental.
