About

Heike Gattnar is one of the first-generation Somatic Experiencing practitioners in Germany, working with SE since 1996 and authorized as trainer by Peter Levine personally in 2002. She teaches SE trainings in Berlin and Munich, leads post-advanced seminars, and has a particular specialization in transgenerational trauma. Her background also includes 8 years in neurophysiological basic research.

Clinical Orientation

Body psychotherapist whose approach integrates intensive perception methods, meditation, art therapy, breath and voice work with SE. Specializes in transgenerational trauma — the transmission of unresolved trauma across generations — which aligns with depth psychological perspectives on inherited unconscious material.
