Harvey Schwartz, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist and co-founder of Polaris Insight Center in San Francisco, CA. He is one of the earliest MAPS-trained clinicians to bring rigorous psychoanalytic depth to psychedelic therapy, and has served as a supervisor and trainer on the LYKOS MDMA-Assisted Therapy Training Program, including roles in both Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD.

Harvey specializes in treating complex PTSD, dissociative disorders, spiritual trauma, and therapy-related trauma. He has undergone advanced Ketamine-Assisted Therapy training through the Ketamine Training Center and the LYKOS MDMA-Assisted Therapy Training Program. He is the author of 'Dialogues with Forgotten Voices: Relational Perspectives on Child Abuse Trauma and the Treatment of Severe Dissociative Disorders' (Basic Books).

As co-founder of Polaris Insight Center, Harvey helped build a clinic that integrates somatic, psychological, and transpersonal approaches into an experiential treatment model for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Polaris is committed to training the next generation of psychedelic therapists and clinicians from diverse backgrounds, and to contributing to the ongoing development of clinical practice and research in psychedelic-assisted therapies.
