Polly Young-Eisendrath is a licensed clinical psychologist, Jungian analyst, and founder of Dialogue Therapy, practicing in central Vermont since 1992. She holds a PhD in developmental and counseling psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. A Zen student since 1971, she studied under Roshi Philip Kapleau and is a mindfulness and dharma teacher in the tradition of Shinzen Young. She is Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Vermont and has authored approximately 18 books translated into 20 languages. She directs the Waysmeet Sangha Buddhist community and hosts the Enlightening Conversations Series between Buddhist teachers and psychoanalysts.
