Kimball Jones has practiced pastoral psychotherapy at the Psychotherapy and Spirituality Institute in New York City since its founding in 1975. He earned both his MDiv and PhD in Psychiatry and Religion from Union Theological Seminary at Columbia University. An ordained Methodist minister and practicing Buddhist, he became a full member of Won Buddhism of Manhattan in 1995 and was appointed a lay teacher in 2010. He brings over four decades of multi-disciplinary experience integrating Christian pastoral care, Buddhist contemplative practice, and depth psychotherapy.
