Thomas Zimmerman

Thomas Zimmerman is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and the founder of EMDR Cleveland, LLC, a practice and training center dedicated to advancing trauma-focused psychotherapy in the Cleveland, Ohio area. He holds the trifecta of EMDRIA credentials as a Certified Therapist, Approved Consultant, and Approved Trainer, and earned his Master of Science in Education from Youngstown State University. Zimmerman is widely recognized for his contributions to online education for EMDR therapists working with complex trauma populations, producing training content and conducting EMDRIA-approved foundational trainings both in person and via telehealth. His clinical work spans over thirty-five specialty areas including PTSD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attachment issues, and dissociative conditions.
