Suzanne Rutti

Suzanne Rutti is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory designation and a faculty member with The Institute for Creative Mindfulness, practicing in Columbus, Ohio. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and French from Miami University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, and achieved EMDRIA certification as both a clinician and consultant in 2000. Rutti co-owns the Trauma and Wellness Institute as well as the Central Ohio EMDR Connection, reflecting her dual commitment to clinical practice and professional development within the EMDR community. Her clinical specialization centers on complex and developmental trauma, with particular expertise in treating complex PTSD, dissociative disorders, preverbal trauma, sexual violence, childhood abuse, traumatic birth experiences, and intimate partner violence. She integrates multiple evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness-based practices to provide comprehensive, individualized treatment.
