Sarah Rosney

Sarah Rosney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R), trauma expert, EMDR therapist, EMDRIA-approved trainer, consultant, and training facilitator. She is Senior Faculty at Deany Laliotis's Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy, the premier training institute for relational, depth-oriented EMDR. She describes herself as a wife, mama, and learning therapist committed to exploring the impact trauma has on birthing, parenting, and quality of life. Her expertise is in treating complex developmental trauma, traumatic bereavement, sexual abuse, and spiritual abuse. Her clinical work has included individuals, children, families, and groups in private practice as well as inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. She developed and implemented a perinatal palliative care program and has worked with post-resettlement refugees and pediatric hospice/palliative care. She provides EMDR consultation both individually and in groups, in office and online, and enjoys mentoring newly trained EMDR therapists along with seasoned therapists seeking to deepen their skills working with complex cases.
