Nidhi Tewari

Nidhi Tewari is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDRIA Certified Therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and Advanced EMDR Trainer practicing in Richmond, Virginia. She holds a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from George Mason University. Tewari specializes in the application of EMDR with children and adolescents coping with trauma and anxiety, and maintains a particular focus on adult survivors of childhood trauma presenting with complex post-traumatic stress. Her clinical work centers on creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental therapeutic space in which clients can process distressing memories and move toward authentic self-expression. In addition to her private practice, Tewari serves as a Field Instructor at the VCU School of Social Work, contributing to the training of the next generation of clinical social workers.
