Julie Kyle

Julie Kyle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of The Chicago EMDR Center, a group practice dedicated to providing evidence-based EMDR therapy across Chicago and throughout Illinois. She holds dual EMDRIA certifications as both a Certified Therapist and an Approved Consultant, and serves as a Training Facilitator and Logistics Producer for the EMDR Institute. Licensed in both Illinois and California, Kyle brings a relational and integrative approach to her clinical work, specializing in trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and attachment injury, with particular expertise in treating first responders and business leaders. Her therapeutic philosophy extends beyond symptom reduction, employing EMDR holistically to help clients address limiting beliefs and foster meaningful psychological growth. Since establishing The Chicago EMDR Center in 2017, Kyle has cultivated a team of expert EMDR therapists and developed a robust training and consultation practice, mentoring emerging EMDR clinicians in the development of their trauma therapy skills.
